Who performs the treatments?
Every treatment is performed by Amanda McLaughlin, APRN, CRNA, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified registered nurse anesthetist.
How long does Botox last?
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin typically last about three to four months. How long results last depends on the area treated, the dose, and your metabolism.
What is the difference between Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin?
All three are botulinum toxin type A injections that relax the muscles that cause expression lines. They differ slightly in formulation, how quickly they take effect, and how they spread, so the best choice depends on the area and your goals. Amanda will recommend one at your consultation.
How long does lip filler last?
Hyaluronic acid lip fillers such as Restylane Kysse usually last about six to twelve months, depending on the amount used and how quickly your body breaks it down.
What is a lip flip?
A lip flip uses a small amount of neurotoxin above the upper lip to relax the muscle so the lip rolls slightly outward and looks fuller. It adds no volume and typically lasts about two to three months. It can be combined with lip filler.
Is there downtime after Botox or filler?
Most people return to normal activities the same day. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites can last a few days, especially after filler. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after a neurotoxin treatment.
What does microneedling with PRP treat?
Microneedling with PRP is used for acne scars, uneven texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, and redness from rosacea. A series of about three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is usually recommended, and skin is typically pink for one to three days afterward.
What is Upneeq?
Upneeq is an FDA-approved prescription eye drop that lifts droopy upper eyelids without surgery. One drop a day lifts the lid within minutes, and the effect lasts for several hours.
